Marathon Financial Advisors Presents:

Redefining Retirement for Boomers with Leslie Rose McDonald | Tuesday | October 3rd | 7-8:30pm
The NEW Community Library of Dewitt & Jamesville (5110 Jamesville Road)

Retirement – the longed for goal of previous generations – is mostly irrelevant for this generation, the inhabitants of a new age.  We now have the good fortune to choose from different and evolving models for work, play, relationships, and life with more meaning and purpose.  With expectations to live longer and enjoy better health, we will have many more opportunities from which to choose.   This engaging and thought-provoking session will examine the changing nature of retirement and its impact on individuals and couples.  We are in a unique place to design the work, leisure and lifestyle that fits us best, and will explore how those aged 50+ can develop a clear vision for purposeful and satisfying post-career options.

→ Boomers are turning 65 at a rate of 10,000 per day!
→ Up to 70% will choose some form of work after they “retire”
→ Many are challenged to visualize and define their “bonus years.”
→ Retirement can be a time to reclaim your balance, purpose and joy!

Presented by Leslie Rose McDonald, a seasoned career transition coach, certified Retirement Options Coach and Boomer herself!  She has assisted hundreds of professionals through various career/life transitions as president of Pathfinders CTS, Inc. for the past 25 years.
